STAFF SHOUT OUT! 🤩

One of our awesome English teachers at Richmond Early College is Mrs. Gretchen Martin!

Mrs. Martin teaches English I Honors and English II Honors to our 9th grade students.  She is also the advisor of our Student Senate, and coordinates the REaCH prom each year.  Gretchen is married to Chad, and together they have 4 wonderful daughters.  She has been teaching for 20 years, while 10 of those have been at REaCH.   Mrs. Martin earned her teaching degree from UNC Pembroke.  She enjoys traveling, camping, boating, and making a fun weekend out of her kids' activities. She also enjoys reading and writing when given the opportunity.  Mrs. Martin states, "I love working at Reach because the climate here is welcoming and staff and admin support our obligations to family. Everyone is dedicated to teaching the whole student and we are able to form strong relationships with our students here. Students who attend Reach make teaching fun and allow for opportunities to be creative."

Thank you, Mrs. Martin, for being a valuable member of the REaCH family!
